Village overwhelmed by generous donations - 5 Oct 12
"Last Saturday at our last karaoke evening for 2012 we were presented with cheques from Mr. Tony Allen and Mr. Keith Trigwell for £14,000.00 each to pay for the tarmacing of the drive and parking area and the edging.
Long standing residents of Blunham Mr. Tony Allen and Mr. Keith Trigwell wished to donate something back to the village after selling the land for development to Bellway adjacent to the playing fields where they are building in excess of 27 developments.
We are extremely grateful to Mr. Allen and Mr. Trigwell for their generous donation and their concern to keep
the pavilion up and running throughout the year and for many more years to come.
They have both been offered ‘Life Time Members’ of the Pavilion and we hope to see them as often as they can. " Jane How - BPFA Chair Person

This will include further play equipment and we are looking at the possibility of providing a public toilet. This funding is from
developments such as the new Bellway Homes and is part of a larger sum the Parish Council are still negotiating on behalf
